Enrolment and Admission at Booker Washington Institute

BWI administers two placement exams at the beginning of each academic year in three subject; English, Mathematic and General Science. About 6,750 youths have attempted the exam over the last five years. Owing to the capacity of BWI, only 45 – 50 percent of the candidates have succeeded in getting enrolment at the institution each year. Enrolment has increased from 22 in 1999 to 1,500 in 2011 with 30 – 35 percent female proportion.

Before you can gain admission into BWI you must have successfully pass to the 10th grade. There after you will have to take a placement exam and make a successful pass. In order to take the placement exam you must first purchase a form which will be on sale at various locations to be announce during the end of the school year for a minimum cost. You are to fill in the form and return it to the admission office with two recent passport size photos. Placement exam dates will be announce later.
